Girlfriend Weekend is the premier online resource for women researching and planning a weekend trip with friends. We aim to be a comprehensive planning resource providing detailed itineraries, money-saving offers, and a curated calendar of events customized for our audience. We work with brands, destinations, hotels, and events to publish content that inspires our readers.

We are currently accepting sponsored itineraries that are of interest to women planning a girls’ getaway.

What we are looking for:

Some examples of sponsored itineraries:

  • Tourism Office – promote your city or town by providing an itinerary that showcases all your location has to offer. We can work with you to publish one general itinerary or a package of itineraries that showcase seasonal activities and various interests.
  • Hotel or Vacation Rental – Paint a picture of what the weekend would look like when a group chooses to stay with you. Highlight dining options, amenities, and activities that are available to make the girls’ weekend extra special.
  • Event Promoters – put together a weekend itinerary that includes your event with nearby accommodations and dining.

Where will this Itinerary be published?

Your itinerary will appear on our website in the archive of Inspiration Articles which is filterable by Region, State, and Getaway Type. In addition, your itinerary will appear on the Destination Page that corresponds with your Itinerary City or Town (if applicable).

All Sponsored Itineraries will include a heading designating them as sponsored content and all links within the post will be marked rel=”sponsored” as per Google Search requirements.

How long will my itinerary remain on the Website?

To keep the information on our website current, our itineraries are published for 12 months. We will provide an opportunity to renew your published itinerary and make updates to the itinerary on an annual basis.
